About the Networking Meetings
HR for SMEs Network is for anyone who looks after HR within an SME organisation, regardless of their job title.
The HR for SMEs Network runs occasional networking meetings.
The topics for the meeting cover the key areas of HR that affect every SME organisation and aim to provide information and training on the subject. Topics include; contacts of employment, the disciplinary procedure, managing sickness absence, family friendly (see meeting titles for further information).
Meetings are advertised (we send out email notifications of all meetings) and can be booked via Eventbrite.
YourHR.guide Resource
We have a fantastic resource called YourHR.guide. This provides guidance and template documents covering all key areas of HR.
There is a FREE Membership that gives access to approx. 50 templates and 70 pages of guidance.
Premium Membership gives access to over 200 templates and 160 pages of guidance. Templates include contract of employment, HR policies and procedures, letters, forms and checklists. You can put in place ALL your HR documentation using YourHR.guide.
The cost of YourHR.guide is £19.99 per month + vat (this is an annual membership).
During the Network meetings, reference is made to YourHR.guide as this provides the resources to allow attendees to easily action any areas discussed in the meeting.
Additional Meetings
We also offer attendance at related meetings. This may include HR clinics or Health and Safety clinics run by associated companies.
We may also offer meetings to showcase specific tools, suppliers or initiatives around HR.
Standards of Behaviour
We ask all attendees to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all time and show respect for other attendees visitors or presenters. In the event of inappropriate behaviour HR for SMEs Network will remove the attendee from the meeting.
Zoom Etiquette
We request that all attendees to meeting have their cameras switched on during meetings. If you attended a networking or training event in person you would be expected to 'be in the room'. We ask that all attendees are 'in the room' during our meetings by having their cameras switched on. In addition this will help to build trust and relationships with other attendees and gives some feedback to presenters. If you do not have a camera on your PC, you can join via your mobile phone.
Other information
HR for SMEs Ltd reserve the right to amend any terms relating to the Networking meetings. This includes cancelling any meetings.
Charges for Networking events may be introduced at any time, for all or selected events. Fees relating to YourHR.guide may be increased inline with the terms of business on YourHR.guide.
